Before I entered The Twilight Zone—the surreal span between Christmas and New Year’s Eve that customarily has me listless and contemplating whether I should work, eat, exercise, or shop ever again—I ventured to London and The Dolomites with my twin sister. She worked and exercised and I shopped and ate, and then we skied our hearts out.
